We are still working with SART to get Ava evaluated further and hopefully a dx sometime soon. We are scheduled to meet with their pedi at the end of the month, I guess there was a meeting and they aren't sure of their first guess at autism and are now leaning toward PTSD and/or an attachment disorder so they want their pedi to see her in person. She hasn't met with anyone since the initial in-home eval with the nurse so I'm not sure why the change in possible dx unless bio mom (we are fost-adopt) gave more info than is being shared with us. She is also on the wait list for mental health and an eval with the neuropsych.
I was told this morning that they are going to do the M-CHAT, I've already done a free one online which said she was at risk for autism, do I even mention this to them since they are backing away from their initial guess at autism? Any advice for doing this test with their Dr?
