FB name- Neveah's new baby sister

Yes, Neveah is spelled 'incorrectly' (parents chose it specifically because it was 'heaven spelled backwards'). 

Anyway, little girl's name is Shep.herd Beth.any, without the periods.

I'm just confused. How on earth is that a nice name for a girl? Am I missing something? Is Shep or Sheppie cute on a little girl?

I never thought that the name Neveah could look appealing, but next to that trainwreck it kind of doesn't look so bad.

my last name is Sheppard.... Shep is a nickname that comes naturally with this last name. My SIL has always been called Shep ... but I don't like it as a first name

I also like Shepherd for a boy. It's my uncle's name...he goes by Shep.

Shepherd for a girl is not appealing, IMO. At all.

Seriously.  I mean did they do it on purpose??? Was someone really exhausted in the hospital and just forget??? I mean heaven isn't that hard to spell people....
