Non-IFV dilemma

DH is in India for the next 3 weeks.  He left last night & I miss him already.  He would TOTALLY have gone with me to see "Magic Mike" because it would've meant getting lucky when we got home.  Alas, I asked him what he wanted to see @ the theater this weekend & "Ted" won out, which was actually fine since AF came a day early.  Booo.

Anywho, would it be weird if I went on my own?  I've been trying to get some friends together to see it but they're all lame.  All I can imagine is my fat a$$ getting stared @ alone in the theater.  I feel like I should wear a shirt saying "My husband is on the other side of the planet for 3 weeks & I'm horny so kill me!".  I think some almost naked Joe Manganiello will help with my depression about not having DH around.  But I can't honestly remember the last movie I went to alone.

Take yourself on a fabulous date! My husband travels frequently and I've gone to movies alone, dinners, etc. Sometimes you have to do something special for yourself. Don't care about others or what they think! You can even sneak in the back during the previews if you feel super self conscious. Don't forget to sneak your favorite candies in and have a great time!

I agree with Mitzi!  Take yourself on a fabulous date!  I personally love to see movies on occasion by myself.  I don't have to share my popcorn or snacks with anyone and I can go the extra mile on the butter and salt in my popcorn bag without having anyone judge me as a cow!  It is a retreat for myself when I just need some me time.  I hope you take yourself up on that movie date and let us know how it is...looks like there is plenty of magical eye candy in this film!

I go to the movies alone all of time.  Personally, my obsession w chann.ing tat.um is out of control!
