Help!

Help! Ashur wont sleep! Last night he woke up every 45 minutes or so. I cant figure out what is wrong. He seems uncomfortable and tosses and turns before he finally gives up and starts crying. I've tried making him warmer and cooler, Tylenol, bottles, diaper changes, nothing works and it gets worse every day. Ayone have any ideas?

Gas drops?  Is he getting anything new in his diet that might not be agreeing with him?

The only change is that he is getting WCM all day long, when we used to do a mix of formula and WCM. He has been getting the WCM for 2 months or so though. I am going to try to give him just formula today and see how he does tonight.

If it doesn't resolve, maybe have him checked for an ear infection?

Did he just learn a new big skill - like walking? I've heard that when kids make a giant leap forward developmentally that it can really disrupt their sleep.

Other than that - is he congested? What about saline drops or a humidifier?

He has been walking for a long time now. Other than figuring out how to spin in a circle he hasn't learned anything new in awhile. He was congested last week, but it has cleared up.

He has an appt. On Thurs for his 12month visit, so if it doesn't get better by then at least I can ask the dr. But I really hope it gets better before then, this sleep deprivation is starting to get as bad as it was when he was a NB.
