I have been lurking a bit in the last few days, even though I was trying not too..... but I miss you all so much . I hope you do not mind me posting.
I have had a tough 10 days since we learned we had a c/p. Last weekend was just terrible and I was really down last week and very unmotivated with anything work related. AF has come and gone, thankfully now trying to work out each step to move forward from this IF thing. I am reading a fabulous book called "Silent Sorority" which is one person's journey from long term IF and treatments to CFNBC. So far a fabulous read and I am learning a lot about the emotions I am feeling right now and how I cannot find a quick fix to the feelings I have. I know it will take some time. My RE has already called to say that he is ready when I am, thoughtful but not on the cards for me.
We are planning a 40th birthday holiday for me at the end of Aug/early Sept and looking forward to that. Thinking Hudson River Valley (upstate NY) or Iceland - chalk and cheese I know. If anyone has any tips please let me know.
Anyway, I have seen a few posts, good and bad and hugs go out to you all.

Re: Popping in to say Hi....
Do we mind you posting? Don't be silly! It made me happy to see you pop in! I have been thinking of you lately as my cycle buddy and regular poster/supporter and I have missed you on the boards.
There are mixed emotions for me to see someone "move on" who you have gotten used to seeing on TB regularly whether it be to support, comfort, comiserate, offer advice, share bits or details about everyday life, etc, etc.
When someone you have gotten used to sharing the "journey" with says farewell for this or that reason...it is bitter sweet because you obviously want the best for those you gotten to know through TB, but then you miss their cheer, advice, support, familiar face, what have you.
With that said, I wish all of the very very best for you and I understand your reasons for primarily lurking and not posting....but, it certainly made me glad to see you pop in for a hello and an update on what you have been up to.
Little update on me: I have been doing a lot of lurking and not so much posting this past week as well as DH and I have been trying to figure our our next step. I have been sorting through my array of emotions while I am also trying to fill my time with fun filled distractions post big fat failed FET.
Long story short: it is great to see you drop in and I cannot say it enough...I wish you and your DH all the best! Keep us posted on your future updates!
You are, afterall, my favorite SoCal Aussie! Xo

Glad to see you here and your 40th sounds exciting!
I sent you a PM.
Glad you popped in. I saw your response over the weekend on the Pain Olympics and I was happy to "see" you. I know I won't be able to "not" lurk in the coming months. I've lost enough that I can't also lose my IFV ladies as well.
I read the Silent Sorority last summer and really found it refreshings since 99% of the other books I read on this topic ended with the author getting the happy ending. I think it may be time for me to re-read it!
That's great you are planning a b-day get away. My 39th is next month and DH and I are making plans to go to NYC with another set of our friends for a weekend of massive cocktailing!
