New to the bump depo shot question

New to the bump. My fianc?e and I are trying to conceive however I was on the depo shot for over 3 years. Has anyone been able to conceive after being on the shot and how long did it take? Also would being on the shot affect any tests I do such as ovulation/pregnancy. The last time I took a shot was at end of december 2011. I've never use the bump. Need some advice and help.

    Congrats and good luck to you both!

    I was on shot for over 2 years when I decided to try for my son who will be 7 tomorrow. I was off shot for 3 months when he was conceived. That gave me time to really exercise, eat heathy and get in general good shape for the pregnancy.  Hope this helps and keep us posted!

    Thanks!! When you conceived within the 3 months had you already gotten a period? I got on it years and years ago because my periods after my first child who is now 9 were so horrible. :( just dunno whats going on with my body.
