1st Trimester
ER
I went to the ER today. I was having some discharge after intercourse early this morning. They put me through the ringer. They took a urine sample, drew blood, a pelvic exam and an ultrasound. By my LMP I am supposed to be 8weeks + 5days. My hormone levels and my ultrasound are showing 4-6 weeks. And the doctor said that it all looks great for that time frame. Not 8+ weeks. I had a mc a year ago. In that the ultrasound showed an empty sac. This time it shows that everything looks great for the earlier time frame. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and it turn out ok? It there a possibility that I'm honestly just off a couple weeks?

Did they actually see anything on the u/s? At 4 weeks you probably wouldn't see anything, at 6 weeks you would see a lot more so it seems odd that they would would say 4-6 weeks.
If they had said you looked 6 weeks (maybe even with a heartbeat) I would say that based on your LMP, it's easily correct and you're closer to 6 weeks.
All of what PP said. If you weren't charting when you conceived and don't know your ovulation date, you could easily be off by a few weeks.
Also, it is normal to have "discharge" after having sex, whether pregnant or not. It's just the rest of the semen exiting your body.
At my first appointment, I was 10 weeks according to my last period. When the midwife did my pap and looked for a heartbeat, we did an ultrasound and found that I was only 8 weeks. Baby looked perfect and healthy. I never kept track of days we had sex or any of that, so it made sense that the days were off. It could be possible for you as well!!! Get checked again in a few weeks? To make sure Baby is growing and healthy.
