dumb question about baby flipping

So the other night when I had my ultrasound LO's hed was up dead center. Now it seems to be over on the top but over to the right. It seems to make sense that she would flip counterclockwise. But I suspect that means she'd be doing a backflip. Do they do that? Or do they always flip forward. I plan on asking about her exact position at my next ultrasound on Tuesday but I can't find any information in the interim and thought someone here might know.

my LO has been head down for awhile, sometimes his feet are on the right and sometimes they are on the left. I think he is just rotating right to left, not flipping. Am I reading you right that your LO is breech?

Yes she is breech. I was reading about how laying on my side with my hips raised can help but I'm not sure what side I should be laying on.

If you haven't gone to spinningbabies.com yet, you should take a look over there at some tips. I think youtube also has a wealth of videos on positions to assume to get babies to flip.

I did some inversions like they show in spinningbabies around 30 weeks because my guy was transverse. He went head down soon after and has stayed that way. I have no idea if my inversions helped, but they sure did not hurt. I also did and still do acupuncture. That sometimes helps as well.

I'm doing the spinning babies stuff and working with a chiropractor on the Webster technique. I read something about laying on your side and thought that was worth a shot while I'm watching TV.
