Yucky question

This is my first time posting!  So Hello!

My DH and I have been trying for a baby for three months now.  I had AF on the 10th for a week, light.  Today I had some really yucky stringy mucus that I wiped.  I have had a lot of discharge, clear for the past week.  Does this mean I am ovulating today?  Or could I possibly be pregnant?

    You could be ovulating but I doubt that you're pregnant since you had AF recently.

    I suggest getting some OPKs and HPTs and test. You can get cheap ones on Amazon.com. Look for wondfo brand.

    I want to welcome you and point you to the newbie link at the top of the page. Lurk and learn for a while. Also, check out fertility friend to start charting. It will help you figure out exactly when your O date is so you won't be so confused about your CM. It has great tutorials to teach you about charting. You can get there from the link in my siggy.

    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Jordan Samuel born April 19, 2014. 6 lb, 12 oz and 18 inches long.

    HSG, BW, Ultrasound, SA, Genetic testing, Karyotype - all normal
    DX - Unexplained IF
    3/13-9/13 - 2 Clomid IUIs & 3 Injectable IUIs - All BFN
    Cycle 25 - IVF w/ antagonist protocol - ER 11/18 (11R, 9F) - ET 11/23 (1 "good" early blast) - none left to freeze - BFN
    Cycle 26 - IVF w/ antagonist protocol  - ER 1/17 (12R, 11M, 8 F) - ET 1/22 (2 "good" expanded blasts) 
    2 frosties - Beta 2/4 - BFP! 2104, 2/7 -  4780, ultrasound 2/12 - holy shiz, there are 2!

    Welcome!  I agree with pp. The tutorials on fertilityfriend are great!  They explain cervical mucous and what to watch for around ovulation time.

    Me(32) + DH(32) TTC #1 since Dec 2011
    RE consult Dec 2012, diagnosed with lean PCOS (didn't see that coming!)  medicated cycles 1 - 4 = BFN
    cycle 5 - metformin, femara 7.5mg, IUI #1, progesterone = BFP!!!
    beta #1 (13dpiui) 37, beta #2 (15dpiui) 104, u/s at 6w5d hb of 115♥

     Howdy!

    If AF came into town on the 10th, the stringy mucus could be a signal that ovulation is happening or will happen soon. Will echo PP's suggestions to check out FertilityFriend and the Newbie Link. Lots of great information.
