Which baby? We've been very lucky so far-
With DD it was 4 cycles (one anovulatory)
With my m/c it was the first cycle
And with this one, it was our first TTCAL cycle

BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
BFP#1 -3/18/12- M/C 3/31/12,

First BFP 6 years. Had to finally do IF drugs
Second 8 months with IF drugs
Third 2 months with IF drugs
IUI#3 - Jan 6 IVF#1 -5/18 - stims start (225 gonal f, 75 menopur, 5 lupron) ER 5/29 - 14R, 11M, 7F. 6/1 - Transferred 2 8cell embryos (grade 1 and 2). 8dp3dt +HPT, Beta#1 - 92, Beta #2 - 174, Beta#3 - 614, Beta#4 - 2010. 6wk u/s - TWINS! Baby A 114bpm, Baby B 112 bpm
With DS it was the 1st cycle
With my m/c it was the 1st cycle
With this pg it took 6 months of TTC

3 cycles for DS
6 cycles for #2 (ended in cp)
3 more cycles & pregnant with this one.
So technically, 9 cycles to get pg with #2.
BFP #1:10/31/10 DS born 6/22/11BFP #3:4/24/12 DD born 12/31/12
This is kind of a hard question for me to answer....we began TTC in April of 2011 (or, maybe what I should say is that we quit preventing). I didn't wise up and start charting or using OPKs until August, got my first BFP in September 2011. Had a m/c in October. Got pregnant again on our first cycle in January 2012. Miscarried on Valentine's day. My third BFP (and this current pregnancy) was again on our first TTCAL cycle and got the BFP in May.
So, the answer is either one month or, if you look at how long we have been doing this, or 12.

My super all about me birth story:
Then: Fraternal twins born at 26 weeks in 1983. Me: 640 grams. Brother: 840 grams. Family kept watch in the NICU for 5 months before being allowed to go home. On oxygen for a year and a half after being released.
Now: Me: PhD student and married. Brother: Lawyer and married.
Dad's wedding speech: Thank you to all the family who stood watch and prayed for our children's survival. Well now the little scrawny chicken is married. Who would've thought? (Thanks dad for making me laugh and cry at the same time).
