-I was induced at 38w and 39w due to pre-e. I'm almost guaranteed to be induced for a 3rd time with this baby.
-Don't care who he/she looks like. By the u/s pics, he/she looks identical to DD!
-No fun new things... just an adorable baby in there that likes to kick every u/s tech that tries to get near mommy's belly (we go weekly.)
-No purchases. We really don't need much for the babe, so we plan to go as we get closer to delivery and pick up the list of things that we still need!

Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? Um...in one of our U/S's it looks like he'll have my jaw line, but I think a mix of both.
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? He's getting stronger!
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? We bought the baby monitor Saturday, but that was the first purchase we've made in a while. I'm trying to hold out for our baby showers.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? I honestly thought Stripper as soon as I read that. I would also prefer they are never directly in harm's way, so as proud as I would be, I will secretly hope against the service, police, fire, etc. Totally in secret, though.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? I had DD with just a little IV drugs. I'll try to go without those this time, but we'll see. I only avoid the epi because of BP issues.
If you are a STM how early, on-time, late did your first baby come? FTM do you think your baby will come early, on-time, late? Taking DD's delivery into account, this one should be right around on time. DD was on track with all her ultrasounds, so barring any complications, within a day or two.
Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? l have no real idea on this one. DD looks like me, but no one sees it since MH has kind of a baby face anyway.
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? Even though my bump is higher, she is still hanging out really low.
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? We finally splurged on some nursery items to make her room slightly different than what DD's looked like.

Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? A few days ago I was with DD in the bathroom while she was on the potty. She put her hand on my belly and baby kicked her right away. : )
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? The only things I've purchased are a new infant car seat and a Miracle Blanket (when they were on BabySteals about a month ago). Clearly I have some work to do.

I understand this one! My father is a former firefighter who almost died on the job and was then forced to take medical retirement. I always swore I would never marry a firefighter, but now DH (a wine salesman by trade) is in school to become a paramedic and he will be sitting for some local FF exams come August. It's his lifelong dream, so I support it wholeheartedly, as I will support DD's, but I'd selfishly prefer something on the safer side.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? I don't really have one that I wouldn't want her to be, as long as she's happy and productive that's what matters to me.

Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? She's a bigger pain in the butt than i realized..ie she is stubborn. Went for a re-do of our sono and she had decided to go breech for this time. Last time she was facing my back the whole time but was head down.
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? No but I did have my first shower on sunday which wasn't that long ago. We got a lot of bigger items: stroller, carseat, etc and some clothing and things like pacifiers and bottles.
What profession do you hope LO will never have? I hope he never strips or works as a male escort.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Drugs. Im terrified to go natural, Ive been with my friends during deliveries and they were so relaxed and we played cards and watched movies and I want that.

Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? He is starting to copy the move his older brother tortured me with. He turns so his butt faces my stomach and pushes out...which is why my belly button is destroyed from DS and will be even more so after this one.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? I'm not sure on this, I'm more on the "I just hope he goes to college" train.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? I want to do natural, but my doc put me as high risk due to my BP, and will induce at 39 weeks if he doesn't decide to show before then. If I'm induced I still want to try natural, but am afraid I'll have to get the drugs.
If you are a STM how early, on-time, late did your first baby come? FTM do you think your baby will come early, on-time, late? Probably not early, I'm guessing I'll make it to induction day.
Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? He already looks like he has DH's nose....
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? Not sure if it is his head or butt, but I can feel him squirming around like crazy just under my ribs on my right side. I love being able to put my hand there and feel him rolling around, it makes me laugh.
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? Not yet, but probably will go and get the crib mattress on Sunday!

7) Cloth diapers! ordered a trial and a few extras and they came in today. Instead of finishing some work, I just dressed a doll up in diapers. haha.

Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Bring on the epidural! My epidural with DS failed, so I basically did a natural birth despite my wishes to the contrary. I never want to do that again.

Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? No idea, DS looked exactly like me when he was born but looks more and more like DH as he gets older, so we'll see.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? To be quite honest, going into the military. I'll still be very proud if either of my boys decide to join, but after sending both my dad and husband off to war...I'm not sure I could do it with my own son.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Drugs. My pain tolerance sucks. I'll go natural for as long as I can though.

Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? Lots and lots of movement, which has been fun to watch and feel. I feel more of the moves instead of just wiggles.

Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Natural. I want a very different experience from my c-section (that still involves healthy baby, of course). I think I can do it and I think it will be amazing.
If you are a STM how early, on-time, late did your first baby come? FTM do you think your baby will come early, on-time, late? My water broke at 41.5 weeks with DS.
Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? More like me this time (DS is a miniature DH). When I imagine what she'll look like in a few years, I imagine a slightly more DH version of me at that age.
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? My chiro thinks I've dropped some. I'm not sure, but I'm definitely feeling pressure lower down than I did before (go go burning scar!). I'm pretty sure she was transverse for a while yesterday, but she seems to have gone back to what I think of as head down.
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? Don't remember if it was early this week or late last week, but I bought a used Rock 'n Play and a handful of clothes, including a sparkly skirt that DS has decided is his (adorable) and 2 years worth of winter coats for DD!1. Matthew M- can not wait to see Magic Mike.
2. I hope that little guy never works at in-laws business.
3. I really want to go natural for as long as possible. I don't like the effect drugs (even cold medicine) has on my body.
4. I have no clue. But selfishly I would love if he came at the beginning of the school year to maximize the time I have with him before I return to work. However, I will wait for him until he is ready.
5. I hope little guy will look like a combination of both of us. It will be interesting to see as I know my side of the family has dominant genes, I look nothing like my father and my brothers (who had a different father) look a lot like me especially facially. On the flip side, Dh's niece looks exactly like MIL.
6. It is totally coincidental but when I am thinking of little guy, he will kick me. I also notice that he moves around when I talk to our dog especially if I tell him I love him. Lol jealous already? Lol
7. I got an outfit for his first picture this week. Can't wait to put him in the outfit! Eek!

Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Natural. I was able to do it naturally with DS and feel like I can give it a go this time around also.
If you are a STM how early, on-time, late did your first baby come? FTM do you think your baby will come early, on-time, late? DS was 19 days early, and I was totally surprised. My mother had myself and my brothers all 1-2 weeks late so I was convinced I would go overdue also, but... I think LO will come early too, because.. well, just because!
Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? I think it depends on whether we have a boy or a girl. DH and I look similar (not in a 'are you dating your brother?' sort of way, but.. similar hair, eyes, height, build, etc..)so I envision lots of brown hair and light eyes either way
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? I wouldn't consider it 'fun' most days, but s/he has been getting the hiccups a lot more, and I'm about certain her face is squished against my cervix because with every hiccup, I get a not so nice little jolt down there

Celebrity crush? Alexander Skarsgard, preferably when he is being the cold, distant Eric in True Blood. As much as I loved me some Sookie/Eric action, I was less attracted to his sappy side.
What profession do you hope LO will never have? The obvious stripper, prostitute, but I'd also have to say bartender. I worked as a bartender through college, and the way some of the pervy, old, rich men would talk to me, was so demeaning and just gross.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? Planning on drugs, I've been brought to tears by period cramps.

Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? I'd be content with her looking a lot like DH, but with my nose. He has olive skin (as opposed to me the ginger), gorgeous eyes, but that nose would not look good on a little girl.
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? Her movement has changed, not decreased, just changed. Before, I used to get a lot of sharp jabs, and kicks, and now there's a lot of rolling and nudging going on.
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? We finally bought nursery furniture, and a crib mattress, pack n play (DH managed to find it on sale for $70 off) and I bought some Halo swaddlers and sleep sacks from Totsy.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? I have no idea, I just asked my DH and he said office cleaner, NFL player (after making millions their bodies are a wreck), musician (too much drugs and sex).

Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? I picture her looking more like me in my head, not sure why. I hope she is a good combo of the two of us. I do hope she gets my H's beautiful blue eyes.
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? She is stubborn, haha. Had to go to L&D because she was not moving much and all the tricks were not working. She was fine and the next day she was back to her wiggly self, it was like she was showing me that she does not have to respond if she does not want to.

What profession do you hope LO will never have? The only thing I wouldn't wish for her to be is a prostitute or another career like that.
Are you doing Natural birth or Drugs and why? I'd like to do natural but I'm open to an epidural...just waiting to see how it goes.
If you are a STM how early, on-time, late did your first baby come? FTM do you think your baby will come early, on-time, late? I'm a FTM and I have a feeling she'll come in the week before her due date.
Do you think your baby will look more like you or your SO? Definitely my husband...his whole family looks alike so they must have some strong genes!
Any fun new things you have noticed about your LO this week? Every time I'm talking to my dog or cuddle with him, she starts moving like crazy
Have you purchased anything LO related this week? If so, what was it? I haven't, but I'm sure my mom has. Every time I see her it's "Look what I got for her..". She's ridiculously excited for her first grandbaby.
