How do I brighten up dark/dingy hook and loop on Imse Vimse?

I loaned a bunch of my diapers to a friend and am so glad she got good use out of them. When she returned them yesterday they are in perfect functioning order, but I notice that the hook and loop area of the Imse Vimse covers are darkened. They almost look like when you wash a white shirt with new jeans. But I know she wasn't washing the diapers with denim. They live out in the country and have well water. I'm thinking maybe it's minerals or something? Not really sure.

I'm wondering if y'all know any tricks I could use to brighten these covers back up. What would you try?

I'm not sure because I haven't used it yet, but maybe a strip with rlr? I was reading a description and it said can also be used to brighten whites.

Oooh, that's a great idea! I was thinking a soak with an oxygen bleach and trying to sun them, but RLR would probably be a good idea for my entire stash to get everything ready for a second go round. I think I still have some in my laundry room too!
