well not to burst your bubble but think about the nicknames that come with those names and go from there. do you want an Evey, a Viv or and Angie or Lina? I know you say they wont have a nickname but they will, my name is lindsay and my nicknames or LeLe or Newt...think about and choose from that
I like Vivienne/Vivien/Vivian...without the "a" the best. If that is not an option, I like Evelyn (if she does end up with a nn, I think Evie is adorable).

I second this. I like Vivi as a nn, but with the full name spelled as one of the options hmp mentioned above.
Evelyn was high up on my list for a while, so that's my vote!
I agree with some of the previous comments preferring Vivienne (without A) if you go that route--and FWIW I think that's really pretty, too!
I see what you guys are saying. I was thinking Viviana because my husband is 100% italian and we are currently living in italy. i wanted to find something that reflected his italian roots while still being semi-modern and translatable to the states. i love Vivienne with the "-enne" french spelling. so beautiful.

I like Evelyn Rose better. Ev, Evie, Lyn... Lots of cute nickname choices.

I think both are lovely.
Which nickname do you like better Vivi or Eve?
From a teachers standpoint, I can tell ya that I've had a Vivi but never an Evylyn
I like Evelyn Rose.
I like Vivian better that Viviana - not that you asked.
