So ladies my H is finally talking grad school. I am very happy about this but very nervous. He has been trying for the last six years to get in his field and nothing seems to be really working out for us. I am super pumped because I am a huge advocator for education and super excited about having him back home again during the week. I am just super nervous of the details. Wish us luck on our new adventures. Didn't feel I could talk to anyone about this yet so I thought I would share with you.
What's new and exciting with you this week?
Re: Good but nervous....
Thats so exciting!! Im sure he will do great, and hopefully this will open up some new doors for him.
I was laid off yesterday. I am smiling ear to ear, and imagining the possibilities. Maybe I will go back to school and finish. Maybe I will find a job helping animals. I will most definitley be enjoying more time w/ my baby :-)
That is exciting! New adventures are fun and scary at the same time.
Yesterday I found out the date of my repeat c/s - Sept 27th. Only 90 days...AHHHH!
What degree is he going back for? How long is the program? It's great that you are so supportive. Going back to school is a huge commitment and I'm sure it'll be challenging for you with 2 LOs, but hopefully it'll open some new doors for him.
We're checking out daycares. They are so expensive! And it's so hard to decide what will be the best option for her.
That's awesome! I wish I had the willpower to finish school. Good luck with figuring out all the details!
Nothing exciting here. Got a peak at DH's upcoming training schedule and it looks like he'll be gone a LOT right up until they deploy, but that's not surprising.
Awesome news...good luck!
I have nothing exciting to report.
I might get my boot off my broken leg next week!
Marsam you would be great working with animals!
That would be awesome!!
That's great!! I went back for my MBA and finished right as I got pg. DH is still working on his degree but it is definitely harder with kids now...they need our support big time!
Nothing new over here...just growin' a big ol' belly!! Oh, and had day #1 of my first garage sale! I really hope the furniture sells though so I can have my garage back.
The degree would be a masters in wildlife and fisheries if he did it. He would graduate in around 2 years which is exactly how much time I have left in nursing school. There are a lot of details to hash out, but his advisor from his undergrad is willing to drive out to where he is working to meet with him and discuss career and school options with him. The advisor actually replied to him on his vacation within a day. I am super happy, just nervous of the details and financials.
Daycare is expensive. Ours is pretty reasonable, but it is still a hard check to write each month.
Mom-congrats! That's very exciting.
SweetH- Best wishes to you and DH as he goes through training.
Mommajen-Yay for no more boot.
MLD- Yay for garage sales. How did the furniture go?
Congrats. That is very exciting!
