I don't think it's terribly weird.  I took a pic of mine...all 3 of them.  I put it in the baby book (the pic, not the pregnancy test).

16 DPO (not entirely planned, so I tested late).

I think that's why I find it weird... they are putting them on a public forum for everyone to see. Idk it's just NMS I guess.

I have always thought it a bit strange, but I know I am in the minority.  I only took 1 test per pregnancy.  I figured that was all I needed to see, plus no AF.

ETA: I never took pics of my pee stick.

I took a picture of mine. Actually, it was totally stupid. It was a picture of me in my pajamas (pre-shower, hair a mess) holding my pee stick with a big stupid smile on my face. 

I do think its stupid to keep pee-ing on multiple sticks. Once you get a positive, why do you need to keep pee-ing on everything? A (+) is a (+) people. Let it go at that and save yourself some money!

This is me too.  I think it's weird...but obviously I don't care if other people do it. 

I DO care, however, if a friend waves their freshly peed on stick in my face to announce their pregnancy.  Cause that happened.  Ewwww.

I did the following flammable things. Judge away.

- Carried my first ever + test around in my purse for like a week. I took it out and looked at it lovingly periodically. If it helps you judge me less, it did take us 4.5 years to get pg.

- took pictures of my 2nd pregnancy pee sticks and put it on FB. When I was trying to take the pic, DD crawled over and grabbed them. Took a picture of that too.

- Went out and bought a few extra sticks to pee on, just to get the rush of seeing the positive again. Did that both pregnancies.

I took pics of my pregnancy tests as well and I will probably put the pic in her baby book but the lady that took 6 pregnancy tests all in under 6 minutes might have went a little over board.

I don't think it's weird to take a pic. I didn't because I found out through bloodwork, but I still have the copy of the lab report. I also don't think it's weird to take two tests in a day, just to make sure the first was working. What I dont understand is taking one every single day for a week. I know it's cool to see a positive, but that's just too much.

I also took pics and it is on the first page of DD's scrap book along with a pic of me and hubby on transfer day and what the embryo's looked like that morning. After 4 years of misery, mc's and surgeries I am ok with that. Plus, I want my daughter to know about what we went through to concieve her.

They are weird, especially on FB (sorry, pear, love you). I will state I took one picture of mine to send my husband because we were in different cities. Other than that, it hasn't been seen by anyone.

I took pictures of my pee sticks, and pee'd on more sticks in the days following. After having a few losses, it isn't so much that I got a thrill out of seeing all those positives.

It was more like, please be the one that sticks and pray that the line got darker, because there were a few times that it didn't.

This is exactly what I did.

I guess I should clarify what I thought was weird about that post. I don't think taking a picture of it is that odd. I think posting it on a public website so a bunch of people you don't know can look at it.

I also don't understand taking more than 2-3 tests. Personally, 2 was enough for me. I took one on one day and another the next day. A line is a line is a line.

I think that is really cute, and I am not a fan of pee stick pics.

Interestingly enought, my pee stick pic is my OB contact pic in my phone.  I change OBs with my BFP, so I always think of babies when they call.

No. I don't think so. Especially since that poster experienced a few miscarriages. As someone who experienced infertility, I can tell you I peed on a stick every day for awhile as reassurance that my pregnancy was actually true and that I wasn't losing that baby that I waited 2 years for.

Yep, took 3 HPT and a pic of one to put in his baby book (+ the blood tests). It was a long 10 yrs.
