OK to use Viatmin E oil on DD?

DD is 28 months old.  She was bitten by another child at school on the face mid March.  There is still a scar there.  I used Children's Mederma for a while (per her pedi's recommendation), but there's still a mark there.  Several people have recommended using Vitamin E oil on it, but when I bought it yesterday it says "Do not use on children or animals".  So, is it safe or not??  I would think Vitamin E oil would be about as natural as you could get for attempting to get rid of a scar...??

    Our pharmacist told me no way when I was looking for something for DD's scar from stitches.  She had me try Bio-Oil.  I used it twice a day on her for 3-5 months and her scar is so hard to see.  I started using it on my stretch marks and it really is amazing.

    OK, good to know. I did see Bio-Oil there (Target). Maybe I'll return the Viatmin E oil and try that.  Thanks!!
