I can't remember if I read it on this board or 3Tri (I lurk. don't judge). But someone had an anatomy scan this week and they didn't know if the baby had down syndrome or dwarfism ?
I just wanted to share that yesterday we took Buddy and Tiny to the splash pad and there was a little boy (basing age soley off how good his speech was) I'd say 4. He had some form of dwarfism. He was on this little scooter having an absolute blast. I swear this little boy lit up the whole splash pad with his laughter. It was the first thing I heard over the water/loud kids, he was super outgoing with Buddy and wanted to play and chase him.
So it just goes to show, even if your baby has dwarfism (or DS) they will be happy, and thrive.
I hope this comes out right, I saw him yesterday and he just made me smile, and I thought of you poster. I wish I could remember your screen name.
I'm sorry about your friend Shakes, I hope everything works out for them no matter what the outcome.
Re: Shakes - Story for your friend
That might be it. Shoot I looked back a few pages and just can not for the life of me find the thread.

Thanks man!! It was a friend of mine yes
They go for genetic testing today and we all hope it turns out to be nothing. But if it is something, she will need all the positive outcome stories she can get. I appreciate it. I will pass this along!
Regardless of this baby's diagnoses or hopefully lack thereof, I am very happy we live in a world that can provide a life free of limitations for kids with disabilities.
