Kind of gross CP

About hairy moles.  6 yo DD has a mole on her forearm.  It has a hair in it.  It is visible when she brings her hand under her chin for example.  Since she's only 6 WWYD?[Poll]

  • I vote for leaving it. If you pull the hair out, it will just grow back. And it hurts.

  • Do you have family photos coming up? How big is the mole and how long is the hair? Is it just bothering you because it makes you twitch when you see it?

  • If there is no reason to pull it, don't. Not only the ouch factor, but you don't want her to start picking and pulling at other things as a result.

I think we should leave it and let her decide how to manage it when she's a little older.  DH wants to yank it.  I figured I'd get some more opinions.

  • Leave it. If it bothers her in the future, do it for her then.
This is how I feel about leg shaving, unibrows, armpit hair, bras (to a point), etc.
If she becomes self conscious about something that can be shaven or plucked, I want her to feel free to do that.
