Have any of you purchased a heartbeat dopper yet? I just purchased the Sonoline B doppler and wondering if it is way early to hear the heartbeat? Any of you have any experiences?...
Some women can use it to get the heartbeat as early as 10 weeks but it isn't promised until 12. We purchased it and it arrived when I was 11 weeks 6 days and we found it that night.
You're just getting into the period where you could find it, but don't panic if you don't. It's still pretty early. I still have my Angelsounds doppler from when I was pregnant with DD. It always worked great for me.

I don't have a doppler but I just want to give you my reasoning for not worrying if you don't find the HB easily!
My OB tried to use a doppler at 11w2d but couldn't find anything so we did an ultrasound instead & everything was healthy. I'm a FTM, have a severely tilted uterus & little one is in there head down - all factors which made finding the HB impossible at that time. I'm 13 weeks now and would probably be able to find it by now but the way my body is shaped doesn't make it easy - I'm not sure if my ute has moved into a completely "normal" position yet.
Make sure when you're looking for a HB you aren't finding just yours! Make sure you're checking low enough and the heartbeat should be much faster than yours. In your 9th week LO is tucked down really low so it should take some time to find.
If you freak out easily, I would wait to look for it until 12 weeks. Even then sometimes it is tough to find. I think I found mine with DD around 10.5 weeks, but it was definitely tough.
I have the Sonoline B and have tried to find a heartbeat since 7 weeks. Tried once or twice a week. I finally found it at 9 weeks and a few days. It was faint, but it was definitely a heartbeat. I imagine you'll be close to being able to hear it! Best of luck!
