Who's got 2 thumbs & newly dx thyroid issues?

This girl!

I get a call from my RE (Dr. D-W) last night that she was reviewing my records from IVF #1 baseline b/w (not done @ her practice) & my TSH was 3.5.  She said she aims for her patients to be under 3 because of new evidence that the old under 5 cut off isn't optimal.  Was I aware of this, she asks?  No.  Because the people who did IVF #1 sucked @ communicating.  Dr. D-W agreed.  Oh & I ordered my records 2 months ago to be transfered to her & she just got them.  They are literally 2 mi down the street.  WTELF?  So I start Synthroid tonight.  Before infertility I only took a multivit.  Now?  I'm a freaking pharmacy.

    :(

I'm in the same boat. The good thing is that it's probably just while you TTC and not long term. Synthroid needs to be taken on an empty stomach, and check their website for discount offers, for me it's cheaper OOP than through my insurance.
