Different / Strange (to me, anyway) names...

While trying to come up with baby names I started thinking about people I know. Not because I want to name LO after anyone.. actually quite the opposite. I won't have a problem in these cases.. I don't know what their parents were thinking!

M'kel and Makaya - Brother and sister... 6 years apart

Shanlysia and Natasia - Twins I went to HS with. Not 100% on the on spelling.

Charneil - Another I went to school with.

Bobbie-Sue - My friends little sister. This is her 1st name. She also has 2 middle but I'm forget sure what they are..

Excelia - Bobbie-Sue's Daughter. She goes by Xia a lot.

Dorkus - A lady who used to come into my work a lot. She had an unusual last name as well.

Robeana - I used to used to work with her.  She actually goes by Bean..

Rico, Derico, Larico, Sharico... Who are all brothers/first cousins!

Comfort - He's related to the "..rico's" but I forget how exactly..

That's all I can think of for now. I know there are more.. lol

WOW. There are some doozies in there!

And even the classical/biblical name is spelled in a bizarre and wrong way! Dorkus? It's Dorcas!

I know a baby named Comfort Skye! & my nephew's name is Random.

Yeahh... Well.. at least it's a conversation starter? And HOPEFULLY he won't know anyone else with the name. It's both random and unique! lol

I know a very sweet older woman named Dorcus, it is a real name.........I think the term DORK came many years after Dorcus.

I know a boy named Trout!

I really don't know many people with strange names. I did know one girl in college named Xyrica (like erica with a Z at the beginning). I think that's the only weird one I can really think of. Some of these are pretty bad though!

I have never heard this one before but I think I like it - I'm really into nature names though! I think I might add this to my list in case we have another boy. We are currently expecting a girl.

I grew up with a Bobbie Sue as well.

Well, then I should tell you that I also know a boy named Canyon.......neither Trout or Canyon are my style, I thought I would share with you.
