Is it normal to all ready have swelling in my feet and legs. I'm not talking just a little either, by the end of the day they are so swollen I can barely walk, because I am in such pain. has anyone else experienced this?
I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow - my hands get a little swollen if I get too hot or if I don't drink enough water - but nothing major. I would definitely call your OB - I think severe swelling like that is a sign of a few conditions. That's something they need to be aware of.
Are you drinking enough water? I'd reduce your sodium intake and try walking for 30 minutes a day and see if that helps at all. I hope you feel better!
Yes I drink a lot of water. I try to walk also just hard cuz in the mornings I am sick and by evening I'm so wore out and swollen I can't do anything...I go to my doctor tomorrow, so hopefully will get some answers!
My ankles and feet began swelling at about 14 weeks. I drank a ton of water and kept them elevated. I thought they were bad then...by the end of my pregnancy I seriously had elephant ankles. It hurt other people to look at them, LOL!
