Hi Everyone, I hope you all are feeling good!!
I am trying to find out this info on my own before I call my Dr.... I have always had pretty sensitive skin but it has definitely gotten worse since becoming pregnant. I tried putting bio-oil on my stomach and I guess I had a bad reaction to it because now my stomach is all broken out and itchy. Does anyone know for absolutely sure if it is ok to use cortizone? I get this type of rash all the time and I normally use this cortizone liquid dabber thing and it helps tremendously but I have read conflicting information as to whether or not it is safe during pregnancy. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks a bunch for any info!
Re: anyone with skin issues/rashes?

yes, over the counter cortisone cream is fine, that's what they told me to use...my rash has even gotten worse post pregnancy, i am going to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist, i'm literally scratching my skin until it's bleeding LOL

TTC #2: current cycle: 225iu Menopur for 4 weeks, Ovidrel Trigger= BFP! Beta #1; 333, Beta #2 713! 1st u/s showed TWINS (7/18)
I have nasty eczema on my middle and ring fingers on my left hand - it's sooo itchy! My OB told me to use Aquaphor and over-the-counter hydrocortisone to relieve the discomfort. She said they try to avoid pregnant women using the super-strong cortisone treatments, but those are rx-only. If what you have came from a store without a rx, it's probably fine
Me = lean PCOS;DH = poor morphology (3%)
3 IUI/TI cycles = BFN
IVF #1 with ICSI: antagonist protocol = BFFN
IVF #2 with ICSI : Lupron downregulation = BFFN...FML
IVF #3 with ICSI and AH (Antagonist) = IT'S A BOY!!!!
Thanks everyone!! From what I read it seemed like over the counter cortisone stuff was ok but I feel better knowing you guys heard it from your Dr.'s as well...Maybe the website I was reading about cortisone not being ok was referring to the rx stuff.
Thanks again!
