2nd Trimester

XP: Breathing

okay, I don't know how to explain it.  If I breathe through my mouth it's fairly normal feeling, but when I breathe through my nose it's like it's super plugged/stuffed and I can't get a good breath in (like I'm suffocating).  Does that make sense??  Anyone else experiencing this? Is it normal??  It's not like he's squishing my lungs (well maybe?!), I don't know.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense!  TIA

  • It's normal.. I just read an article and of course I can't find it right now (sorry!) but a lot of pregnant ladies experience this! Annoying, huh? lol

  • You probably just have a stuffy nose- stuffiness is due to swelling of the nasal tissues, not necessarily mucous. It's common in pregnancy due to increased blood volume.
