My IVF Journey
but there is a baby girl on my hospital's online nursery named J'La.
I'm wondering if it's pronounced "Jayla" or more like the first two syllables in gelato?
yet again, i have to get on my soapbox as being one of the only kids from the ghetto to make it WITHOUT a ridiculous name. I know THREE girls with this name and yes, her name is essentially "Jayla" as you previously stated.

I would have said Jayla, too.
FWIW, I teach plenty of "kids from the ghetto to make it out without a ridiculous name" (Taylor, Marcus, Brandon, Micah, Carlos, Kelsey etc etc) along with the "different" or "unique" ones.
Re: It's not La-a...
