I was recently told my baby has a small mass in his left lung the doctor said its a tumor that we will have to keep an eye on. I am now considered high risk and will be getting ultrasounds weekly I asked what would happen if the tumor grows and they told me surgery. My doctor is telling me its to soon to know anything yet and the best thing I can do is not stress. I am worried I am not asking enough questions or even knowing what to ask. Should I be doing more should I wait a couple of ultrasounds to see? I just learned the news a few days ago I am 24 weeks and a first time mom any advice would help thank you.
Yeah. I'm an ob. If you pm me your email, I can scrounge up some good info for you. CCAM's come in 4-5 types and baby's prognosis depends on the type. There is one type that has a poor prognosis and if I remember correctly it is more rare. I will look for some stuff for you.
