stupid nutramigen question

How tightly do you pack the scoop? I mean, am I supposed to actually push it as far down as I can or are we just talking about filling it up, tapping it a few times to settle, and refill it?

We pack it very tight so that there aren't any gaps (that we can see).

Thanks. Nutramigen has been an epic failure so far so we're trying alimentum again now.
