So last night we were playing with the Mobi wrap trying to figure it out and the different ties. My husband was very excited about this, he loves the idea of wearing baby vs. caring baby, but he asked a question I have no idea how to answer...
He asked, what should he do, if he is out with baby, alone, with the Mobi, and needs to pee? Is it ok to pee with your kid on front of you? Or does he mad dash it home? What if he has to go really bad?
I told him I had no idea but I would ask the dad board, and see what they had to say!
Help dads, what do you do?
Re: Hubby's question stumped me.....
Ha Ha!
Well that is a tough one and my wife and I haven't even discussed that...
If I'm too far from home and I have to go really bad...well, if it was me and I'm also having a son soon, I guess I would go to the restroom with my kid. I wouldn't go at a urinal because he would be too close to the wall and that's kinda disgusting (even though I'm talking about peeing with my kid attached) but I would find a stall, close the door and together we would handle it.
Now I have to ask my wife what she thinks....very interesting question. You should get your DH on the board, these are the kinds of questions that make us think!
This. I was thinking about this question when I was at the mall. I had her in the stroller and I really had to be so I just pushed her in the family restroom cause where I was didn't have a handicap. While standing there I was like "hmmm. I wonder how this would be done if I had her in my Infantino."
This. I haven't peed in the wrap... but I know I've had to hold LO while peeing before (not fun, wouldn't recommend it... the wrap is ALOT easier). I saw a woman once who left her LO in the stroller OUTSIDE her stall. Seriously hope you aren't taking a shi*& cuz it would only take 2 seconds for someone to snatch your kid !
Yup, this. And hope the dads dont flame me but I've also gone #2 with him in the Moby. I mean he was sleeping I wasnt gonna take him out and wake him up so I could use the bathroom... It honestly probably easier for dad to go pee with the moby than us, cause they don't even really have to worry about sitting down...
If you went #2 without waking him up, kudos. If you gotta go, just go. If you wanna wake the baby up just so you can poo, prepare to deal with the consequences. haha
