Strange Way to Find Out (intro)

Today I went in for my first appointment with my new doctor to discuss my PCOS diagnosis. After going over some history and talking about my long cycles and PCOS she decided to give me Provera to jump start my period since I am on CD 93. After writing the script and talking a little more, I told her how sore my boobs have been and the lower abdominal cramping I have had. She decided to give me a HPT just to be on the safe side before I started the Provera. She said she "had a feeling", and sure enough... I got my BFP today! At her office!

I am gingerly stepping over here to 1st Tri!

I am Kaley and I have been married to DH for 3 years this month! We have been trying since November, or 4 cycles since they have been so wonky.

I also have PCOS and my first BFP came on the day I had an appointment to talk to my Dr. about starting Clomid.

I have a friend who was married 14 years ago and was immediatly pregnant and delivered a very healthy boy... then they kept trying and trying for more.... but she gained weight and was diagnosed PCOS so they thought their options were nill....... well one day 14 years later she decides to go to the doc cause she wasnt feeling well.. and guess waht.....she found out she was pregnant..... 14 years later.... what a blessing from heaven!!! They are now expecting a boy due in august or sept. and I am soooo happy for them!!

Congratulations!!!!! I was diagnosed with PCOS in 1996 and my doctor said it would be almost impossible for me to get pregnant without fertility treatment. A year later I was pregnant...without fertility treatment. That baby is my 14 year old daughter who is starting high school this fall. I also have a 12 year old boy and just found out I'm pregnant with #3...wasn't planned.

This is very similar to what happened to my sil...pcos and about to start fertility meds, doc asked her to take a test even though she didn't believe that she was really pregnant (sil) and she was!! How wonderful for you!!! Congrats:)
