Or maybe I'm just missing out on enjoying the lightness before the baby comes and it inevitably fills to the brim..?
In both my bag and DH's (Mr. "I'll never cloth diaper!" had to have his own bag...)
I have a couple prefolds, two extra covers, and a fitted (plus an AIO in DH's)
extra snappi
tube of Grandma El's
pack of disposable wipes (we got them as gifts and figured we'd use them until they're gone)
baggie with cloth wipes
wet bag
spray bottle with diaper lotion potion mix
two extra onesies
burp cloth/light blanket
I must be missing something, they're so light!
Re: I don't think I have enough stuff in my diaper bag..
Don't worry, you'll fill it up soon enough. It'll get random toys thrown in as well as other odds and ends (nursing cover, burp cloths, baby sun hat, paperwork from doctor visits, your wallet and keys, etc.). Just remember to change out the spare clothes every now and then. I had extra newborn onesies in mine for 3 months, long after he'd outgrown them. You'll find with CDing that you don't have many (if any) blowouts that require a wardrobe change
We also have:
Hand sanitizer, mini first aid kit, emergency paci, Wet Ones, LOs sunglasses, and some of the other stuff already mentioned.
When he used to nurse 24/7 I also kept some magazines in there to entertain myself.
I agree- it will fill up fast!
