MLD re: temperature

Apart from all the drama, DD had a 104 temperature last week and when we took her to the ER, they did the rectal temperature reading. So if that helps, rectal is the way to go. We did it in her mouth and it was 103.4 so I assumed it was 104ish.

We always do rectal because that's what the doctors will want to know if you call. Adrianna had a fever two weekends ago and when we took her in, the nurse said they had to do rectal since they were dealing with a fever (they usually do her armpit because she acts like a nutcase at the pedi's office). She's used to it at home though so it didn't really phase her.
