I used a Medela Swing for occassional bottles. I would pump, pour into a storage container (I think the brand was Avent) and then would freeze or refidgerate those and then when to room temp pour into the bottle (either Dr Brown or TT Closer to Nature)...so whatever is easiest for you

Nope. I have a medela pump and pumped into medela or similac bottles- whatever was clean. Then, I would put in a lanisoh freezer bag or pour it into his bottles (either playtex drop ins or Breastflow).

I'm going to be getting the Ameda and it has a $10 or so adapter available that will take different bottles like the Avent. I imagine if I'm pumping though (provided everything with latching goes well) that I'll probably just pump into the included bottles and pour into Lansinoh bags to freeze.

I have a medela pump.
We used advent bottles with DD. She didnt care for the Medela ones.
