Stackable WD?

How would you childproof a stackable, front loading washing machine? Sullivan can't get it open (yet), but the buttons are right at his height and I have messed up many a load, with him changing settings.

Re: Stackable WD?

  • Isn't there a "Lock" option to lock both the door and the buttons.
  • I can't gate it off because it is basically in the middle of my kitchen (gawd I hate the layout of my house) and the only child lock for the buttons seems to be if you hit 2 buttons at the same time. DS occasionally does that, but just as often if not more, he only hits one button.

  • Loading the player...
  • I just let DS play with the buttons and then make sure to double check it before I start a load.

Yeah, that's what I do.  LO will lose interest quickly if there are signs pointing to it. haha

Have you thought about putting a toy on there to play with instead?  A magnetic one that makes noise would work nicely.
