If you're frustrated with DC lately...

What is something they've done to completely melt your heart and forget your frustration?

Bella has me pulling my hair out most of the time lately, but she's being oh so cute right now. She has a couple of her babies in her lap, reading books to them. I want to go and pinch her right now.

  • For about a month DS was this cranky crabby mess.  To the point that I wasn't looking forward to picking him up from daycare the way I used to be.  In the last two weeks he's become him old self again and everything he does just makes me smile and makes my heartmelt!  I've been excited to go and pick him up again!  It could be just the little things he does.  Like climbing in my lap when I'm sitting next to him on the couch or when I see him playing and using his imagination.  Or it could just be that he's not a cranky crabby mess anymore!  Teething sucks!

  • My dh would hate that I wrote this but she says Mommy do it for everything, & no Daddy.  I love that she loves Mommy best (until next week  Wink)

  • DH taught Reagan to say "I love you, mommy".  She doesn't say it on her own yet, but she will repeat it.  So, anytime he sees that I'm frustrated, he will have her say it.

(Ok, and I get her to say it too!  I just love hearing that.  I can't wait until she just says it on her own!)

  • Well DS hasn't been driving me nuts.  But his new thing is if I am sitting on the floor he immediately comes and sits in my lap.  So cute.

  • We've hit a phase where I'm ready to pull my hair out almost everyday.  Last night she got to have a mini pack of M&M's from her halloween bucket.  I poured them onto her tray and she said "Oh thank you mommy.  Look!  Orange everywhere!  How exciting!!!"  She could not contain her excitement over the orange m&m's.  For some reason that just really warmed my heart.  I can't remember the last time I was that excited about anything.
