So is anyone else as ridiculous as me.  I should be about 8 weeks pregnant, first US is next Thursday.  I have no nausea or morning sicknes.  Do have tenderness in my breasts, sweet cravings, very tired and a bit moody.  I have had no bleeding or cramping, signs of a misscarriage.  I'm just really nervous, so I called my doctor and am having the HcG blood tests done this week.  Anyone else as nervous/excited and over reactive?

You are over reacting by having a blood test done. Not everyone has symptoms at the same time or even all of the classic symptoms. I didnt get m/s until week 9 and plenty of women never get it. M/S doesnt normalky start until around weeks 8-10 for most but not all women.

I DID have one m/c and became pregnant the next month. I begged to be brought in and they said there is no need, I am not high-risk. So I wait, and dwell...

I have almost no symptoms. No breast tenderness (which I had w/ my 1st). I am emotional and moody - that is about it.

Go get tested to put yourself at ease!!! Please follow up.

I feel the same way but I keep telling myself, I felt this way when I got the test done at the doctor's office and it was positive then.  So I should be fine.  I have 3 weeks til my first ultrasound. I think the important thing is to think and speak positive and take care of your body and baby.  If getting a blood test will help ease your mind and the doctor is fine with it, I don't see why it's a problem.  Good luck to you!

I was a nervous wreck with DD & I'm trying to stay sane this time around.  I just keep reminding myself that worrying doesn't help anything & to "let go & let God".  That's nice that your doctor is offering you some peace of mind.  Just remember that the major sign of pregnancy is a missed period.  Since you haven't had AF around lately, I'd say you are good.

Yes, you sound like a basketcase. Calm down, freaking out doesn't change anything and a blood test is probably unnecessary.

Well, the nurse called this morning with my results from Mondays blood work my numbers were nice and high she said.  I go back tomorrow for one more draw and as long as the numbers haven't gone done I should be all good.  I am much, more relaxed about it now.  Thanks for the support ladies!

Yeah!  My levels went up even more.  I am on the road to a baby!  All the worries for nothing.
