DH deserves a round of applause

He took it upon himself to ask BM if he can keep SD overnights on wed (now that she isn't in school) and on our weekends if we can keep her through monday. 

he did this ALL on his own, with no prompting/ reminders from me.  (although, BM MAY have suggested it, I will never know)

AND BM actually agreed to it (pretty sure she is using us as babysitters, but that's besides the point)

he even remembered the specifics of what times everything had changed to for pickup/ drop off

I wasn't going to encourage any visitation changes this summer, we have  a lot going on between us as a couple and with the baby coming, but since this was all done without ANY headache to me, I'm not going to complain!

That is great!  Although I may of been slightly irritated if he didn't run it by me first.

yea, he didn't run it by me.  trying to overlook that as its easier on all of us to keep her overnight and return her in the am (due to DH working nights) and the fact that he took the initiative.  

If I were the guessing type BM offered it and DH just accepted, which didn't really give him the time to talk to me about it

Well, originally I thought he pulled his head out of his @ss, but this last post sounds like he just accepted BM's offer and really didn't take any initiative.  So what are we applauding?  That he didn't turn visitation down when it was offered to him?

I can't be sure of how it went down, weather BM offered or he brought it up.

I'm PRETTY sure he brought it up regarding the wednesday overnights, and she went so far as to mention up us keeping SD until monday. 

so I'm applauding him taking initiative, and keeping track of the dates/times himself

You are a pretty patient woman i have to say. And your standards are pretty low when it comes to your husband. At first, you say if you had to guess, she offerred and then you say you are pretty sure he brought it up...hmm....AND, you wanna applaud him for it. Do you applaud him for wiping his own a$$, too?

naw, he does this pretty consistently on his own, or else we would have real issues.  

I wasn't there, I don't want to get into it, I don't know what happened, but from MY POV he took SOME sort of initiative.  

and just the fact that him and BM worked out the visitation without a dramatic hissyfit and getting lawyers involved is applause-worthy in itself.
