Anyone have a LO that absolutely hates solids? We have tried avocado, oatmeal, and sweet potato and my DS is not having it. He makes himself gag if he even gets the tiniest amount in his mouth. 

I'm not pushing it just trying the same thing a few times and then waiting a week until trying something else. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are you warming the food?  Lucas will not eat it unless its warm. The first few tries he hated it and just took practice and a super watered down consistency. I used to add breastmilk until he ate better and didn't mind a thicker pur?e.

I had this problem, turns out we were just timing the feedings wrong.  I think he wasn't hungry enough to eat them.  The last few nights I've waited about an extra 1/2 hour to feed the solids and both nights he ate everything I thawed for him.  Butternut squash is his fave, sweet potatoes 2nd, and the peas are still not happening!

My girl loves sweet potatos, carrots, peas, and bananas.  She hated peaches both times I tried them.  First time she threw up the second she swallowed the first bite, then gagged pretty bad the second time, so we are done with peaches.  But she gobbled up an ounce of pureed peas yesterday.  I have some frozen butternut squash I'm going to puree next.

Are you making sure it's pur?ed enough? For DD it has to be thin and super pur?ed
