Back from my OB appointment. So they are classifying me as having mild preeclampsia. But they are more concerned about the low platelets at this point and possible HELLP. My level is 118, was 112. They have decided against steroids at this time, but we shall see. If they go below 100 an induction will probably be done.
Plan is to keep me on bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy and do twice a week NSTs and once a week labs. My cervix is closed and unfavorable at this time, so as long as we can hold my levels steady we will try to not induce until 38-39w. I am nervous about all of this but we have to do what we have to do. Next appointment is Thursday for NST and labs.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Thank you so much everyone. You are all so amazing. My most major fear is that ir my platelets get too low, they can't do an epidural or even a spinal and a csection would have to be under general anesthesia. I want to witness my daughters birth. But my doctors are being so proactive that I think they will induce long before then.

Hang in there sweetie. I am sure the docs wouldn't take any chances waiting if they thought the baby was in danger. Rest up and keep that little one cooking as long as possible. ((Hugs))
