When did you get a + after IUI?

Coming over from TTTC board for a quick question...

I am just curious for those of you that got pregnant after an IUI, when is the earliest you were able to get a positive pregnancy test?  I just had my first IUI and one nurse told me to test 14dpOvidrel and one told me to test 14dpIUI (a difference of 2 days).  I would probably just wait until 14dpIUI to be safe, but DH is going to be out of town for a few days when I test if I wait for 14dpIUI, so I'm just curious about your experiences.  If this is our cycle, I can't imagine having to tell DH over the phone or waiting a few days to tell him after all we've been through.

I had my beta done 14dPiui and di dnot test before that.  Sorry, I may not be giving you the answer that you want.

At 10dpiui. I got a BFN. Got my BFP at 12dpiui.

I didn't test prior to 12dpiui on our succesful IUI cycle.  I got a positive on a Wondfo and a CBE digital on 12dpiui.  For TI and IUI cycles my RE's office always says test at 14dpiui and if you get a positive come in for a beta.  But I had a hard time waiting until 14dpiui (I never made it that long).

They told me not to test until 14dp ovulation ... I started feeling dizzy so I tested at 11 days and saw a BFP.

Thanks for all your responses!  It's been very helpful.  Eventually I ended up just e-mailing my doctor directly and she said 14dpOvidrel is fine to test.  She said I definitely won't get a false + from the Ovidrel but I could get a false negative. The last day I can test before DH leaves town is 15dpOvidrel/13dpIUI so I think I'll give it a try.  Congrats to all of you on your successes!

I tested 11 dpIUI with a FRER and got a positive, but of course I worried that it was still the HCG shot in my system so I went in for a blood test that morning and it came back with an HCG level of 29.5....so they didn't actually confirm my pregnancy until two days later when I had a level of 86.1.

Both times I didn't get a positive until 13dpiui and I tested way too much in the days before. Good luck!!!

I'm an early and often tester.  I got my positive at 10dpIUI.  I had also tested out my trigger shot.

12dpiui and 13dpovidrel and it was a positive digi so it probably would have showed up sooner! I couldn't believe my eyes!

I don't know what amount your trigger was but mine was Ovidrel 250 which means I had 5,000 iu's of hcg in my system.  This is usually gone by 6-7dpiui or 8-9 dpt.  I got my early bfp on 8dpiui and they consistently got darker.  So my guess if you used a low dose of Ovidrel, you could start testing as soon as 8dpiui if you wanted to.  Good luck.
