Personalities...

Many people say that personalities are there right from birth... but I'm beginning to believe that hers was there before she was born... People would ask me if she moves much, and she rarely did... she's a very laid back baby now too...My SIL just had a LO in April, and she said that he moved and kicked her all the time... now he's a much more active baby, has trouble relaxing to sleep, etc... Also, sometimes when she would move on my belly for the first little while, it would remind me of how she moved when she was still an inside baby.  Her daily hiccup patterns are also similar.  Anyone else notice similarities from when their baby was an inside baby to now that they are an outside baby?

I would agree with this.  DD didn't move much and DH never got to feel her move.  But when she did it was usually between 4-6pm before DH got home.  Now from 3-7pm are her awake moving a lot times.  On all of her ultrasounds she had her hands on her face so we could never get a good picture.  Since birth she has always had a hand on her face--when she came out and they showed her to me she had both hands on her face and looked exactly like the 3d u/s we had 2 wks before that.  She still does that often and usually puts her hands around her bottle when we feed her.

  • My LO was very active in my tummy and really likes to kick his legs and move his arms around when he can now.  He also startles a lot, over every sound it seems while he is sleeping.

  • If we were talking about my first daughter I would 100% agree. But not this time. DD2 was a nonstop mover in the womb and especially late at night. Now she is super laid back and an amazing sleeper!
  • Sophia maintains her Squiggle-Butt nickname. Her MMA pound and ground she use to do on my bladder, she now does to my boobs. Who knew such a little peanut could pack such a walloping right hook?

  • I'm not sure.. I felt her moving almost constantly, night and day. Until the last two months of my pregnancy it didn't appear she slept at all. But so far she's very laid back. The thing is, it was always her legs moving moving moving inside me, and she loves kicking her legs now. The hiccup patterns are the same too.
