He is 2.5 and peed on the potty twice today!!  This is day one of potty training.  I am SO proud of him!!  He did have countless accidents today, but that's ok.  I am just thrilled that he was able to tell me he had to pee when I asked him!  I would LOVe for him to be out of diapers by the time this LO comes in February... diapers are SO expensive!!

Aww! Way to go! That is very exciting!!

My DS is still a little young yet for potty training, but we plan to at least try and introduce it a few months before LO is born in hopes of only having one in diapers too. He'll be 2.5 when this LO is born.

This is awesome. I have a daughter that I wish would be out of diapers as well. But she is deathly afraid of the potty. I have tried everything.

DS = dear son

DH = dear husband

I hear ya on this one, my daughter will be 2 in sept and she knows when she has gone in her diaper but will not go on the potty, so patiently waiting when she will go on her lil pottychair that she will be getting for her birthday! I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with baby #3.

I did consider cloth diapering when I was pregnant, but we would up vetoing the idea for several reasons.  I know it is a huge money saver and a huge reduction in our "carbon footprint," but it just wouldn't work for our family.

Yea, so exciting. My DS2 is a little older than yours and we are in the middle of potty training with him, he will pee on the potty as long as he isn't wearing a pull up or big boy underwear, otherwise he has accidents. He refuses to poop on the potty yet though.
