I have just begun cloth diapering my 4 month old baby. We are using diaperdaisy.com's cloth diaper trial to decied if we like it. We have only been cloth diapering for about 3 days and are experienceing some leaking issues. I know it must he human error, but for the life of me I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. What are the common (or uncommon) causes of leaking? I am thinking that I becuase I don't know what I am doing I am making a rookie mistake. I want this coth diapering to work for us, but I am going to have a hard time convincing my husband if DD keeps peeing on us! LOL. Thanks for your help!
Re: leakage?
Diapers need to be tight. If the legs are gaping try folding in the gussets, I do this a lot and it helps with diapers that I've had leaks with. GL!

There are a few different causes for leaks and it will be easier to diagnose if you can describe where it's coming from and when. Is it soon after the diapers are put on or several hours in? Is it from the leg holes? the top? the tag?
It could be a fit issue like others said. It also could be that the PUL is not sealed. It could be that the diapers are repelling due to improper washing. And it also could be that you are leaving them on too long. (If you just switched from sposies, you may be used to changing less frequently)
Most likely, it's either a fit issue or just that you aren't changing them soon enough.
I just wanted to add that sometimes a brand of CDs may not work for your LO, at least not right now. I tried Oh Katys and could not, for the life of me, get them to work for us. Sometimes the fit of a CD just doesn't jive with your baby. Not to say that the PPs didn't have some good suggestions though.
