Hi ladies
We're trying to narrow down names for LO. I think right now we are leaning towards having 2 names going into the birth and going with whichever one "feels" right for LO. I think our girl names are set:
Isabella Grace and Addison Grace
We have our boy names set but are really having trouble with a middle name for one. DH's middle name is Lucas and so I really like Lucas with the name Snyder (out there I know but it's been our oddball that we fell in love with) although I have since decided that I would like to use the name Lucas for a first name because I like it so much so thats out (wouldn't want to use it later on for a first name if we already used it as a middle name) To make things even more difficult we really want to use a saints name for a middle name. I also like Snyder Steven (Dh's first name) but our last name starts with an S so I was worried that would be too many s's. So I need some help!!!
Lucas James and Snyder ????
Re: Boy middle name help
Just stick with Lucas James
Snyder is not a good first name
Why not do Snyder James?
I'm crossing my fingers that if you have a boy you'll go with Lucas anyway
All of the above, especially the bolded. Please don't give your son a janitor name.
FWIW, I dislike Snyder, but just like any really random name that you fall in love with, there will be lots of people that side-eye you for it.
Other good saint names: Ambrose, Thomas, John
The character's last name was Schneider.
I do hope you'll choose Lucas if it's a boy. Snyder just sounds so unpleasant.
Isabella is one of the most popular names in the country right now, which puts a bit of a damper on it for me. Personally, I love Addison. Also recently heard the name Adilee which is similar but more unique.
Please don't use Snyder! For one thing, it's a popular last name so that is going to be confusing right off the bat. I even thought you were referring to it as a last name in your post at first. Second, "snide" is defined as "maliciously derogatory". Not a very good connotation to have associated with your DS. He will have an uphill battle his whole life. What about Strider instead?
