Ok, I could really use some advice. Saturday I tested positve (3 tests 2 brands). I was having period like cramps so called OB - they said it was normal and would see me at 8 weeks which is mid july. Friday morning decided to test again. Been having cramps all week. Two negative tests (different brands, one digital). Hour later started bleeding.

Called doctor said go to ER. Went to ER had a bunch of tests was told my hcg was 1.9 so must be having a miscarriage. Follow up with doctor. So I called OB and they said come in this afternoon. I went in and had a trans u/s couldn't see anything. It has been 6 weeks since last af, so I would only be 4 weeks preg so they said seeing nothing isn't unusual. Wants me to have more blood one Monday to see what hcg is and then come back in that afternoon.

Anyone else been through this? What do you think? What are my chances of stil being pregnant?

If it had been 6 weeks since your last AF, you would be 6 weeks pregnant.  So unless you ovulated late your HCG number should be much higher and they should have been able to see something.  I am pretty sure they consider anything over 5 pregnant, it sounds like a chemical pregnancy possibly.

 

Do you know when you ovulated?

This does sound like a chemical pregnancy. It happened to me the cycle before I got pregnant this time. But the good news is that I did get pregnant the next cycle. I hope everything works out for you and I will be thinking good thoughts for you.
