Where is your sensory swing?

Oir almost 4 year old kiddo on the spectrum enjoys the sensory input from swinging and has the opportunity to do it at school or in our backyard. We are redoing his room and I am mulling over the idea of whetheri would want a swing in the house, a playroom, his room etc. Not sure safety wise, constant access wise, etc. Then again it might be nice for him to be able to retire to his swing when he is having a moment. Guess I am just scared he would try to go as high as possible or something. His room is pretty much too small for a swing, still I want to hear what youu are all doing.

  • Ours is in our playroom / classroom.

  • Hmmm, bements are very rare in San Diego and sadly we are without a playroom until and unless or boys share a room. Or in a couple of years we may swap houses with my parents in which case the boys can have a badass playroom. I think for now the bat spot for us is to swap it out with one of the trapeze/chair swing spot on our swing set. At least it is a good strong support bar. Hmmm I wonder of he is ready for the trapeze yet
