    How far postpartum are you?

It might be gas pains. They were horrific fore me and my pain pills didn't touch it

  • Possibly gas pains.  Those will subside within a few days after delivery.

    To help with pain:

    1) WALK.  If you don't, you're going to get stiff.  Stiffness will not help with your pain.

    2) Take your pain meds BEFORE you're in pain.  Trying to get rid of existing pain is a lot harder than blocking it out.

    3) Talk to your doctor.

  • Talk to your dr if you are in that much pain. I only took pain meds at the hospital and day 1 of being at home. I still have tinges of pain 10 days after the c-section when walking up stair with the baby but nothing like you are describing. I guess everyone is different though

  • They had me on something after the morphine wore off that did not work at ALL. I was in so much pain and they changed me to percocet which ended up working. I definetly had to have IBuprofen inbetween my doses of it though. Everyone is different and those might not work for you so definetly call and let them know.

  • Every 6 hrs they had me taking Vicodin and a 600mg Ibuprofen and it worked great!  Ditto everyone else on telling your doctor.  Sounds like you need different pain meds.

Absolutely all of this.  I hope you find relief soon.  You just might need a different pain management plan than your doctor's other patients have needed.

Agree with this. FWIW, percs do nothing for me. I'm better off with otc ibuprofen and tylenol.
