Personally, I will not touch anything during first tri. Later in pregnancy I may have a half glass of wine for a special occasion such as my anniversary.

Like PPs, I don't plan to make a regular thing of it, but a tiny bit here or there (like for the champagne toast at my sister's wedding in August) is ok by me.w

Logic tells me that it's okay (half a glass occasionally), but when I did it (at a party where no one knew I was pregnant so I wanted something to hold so I didn't get any questions), I felt crampy the next day. Even though it's probably not related, it's stressed me out. I would just feel like such an idiot if something did go wrong and worry that I caused it. So I'm not having any. But that might change in later stages. I know a few people had the occasional glass in later trimester's.
In the mean time - DH found non-alcoholic wine for me which is actually good (called Ariel from Sonoma) . The red was great when he made a pasta with red sauce feast. But having nausea now, I don't currently want to ingest anything if I don't have to.
I've also been drinking fun juice mixes on the weekends. Ie: blending coconut milk and pineapple. Tasty and I can have it on a fun glass. Planning to do rumless-mojitos soon (lemonade only).
Not yet for me. With ds I had a glass twice, which I sipped on for a couple hours. It's really up to you. One or two probably won't hurt....
If you knew how lonely my life has been
And how long I've been so alone
And if you knew how I wanted someone to come along
And change my life the way you've done
Definitely nothing during first trimester...... And will most likely not have a drop all pregnancy, as I did with the first. Despite my deep love of wine, it's just not worth it, in my opinion.....
I stick to sparkling grape juice. I don't think I would risk it. My hubby and I celebrated our 4 yr yesterday and we had wine in the room at the hotel. I asked the front desk if we could have sp. grape juice and they brought us some.

I didn't really drink with DD, but this time I think i'll have a beer or glass of wine once a week.

Like many other women, I love wine too! But, not going to risk it. My husband actually brought me home a bottle of alcohol removed wine (merlot and chardonnay) called Fre, which is surprisingly good.
I LOVE wine! However, pregnant me does not. During the 2nd/3rd tri, esp. warm days, I do enjoy a n/a beer with lime & a pinch of salt. It's weird because I usually don't enjoy beer.
Personally, I will not touch anything during first tri. Later in pregnancy I may have a half glass of wine for a special occasion such as my anniversary.
This. My 5-year wedding anniversary is in September and I'll be 23 weeks by then, so I may contemplate half a glass of champagne.

I m counting down to the end of week 13, and will then allow myself one glass of wine a week with dinner/out to lunch with a girlfriend. In the meantime, I've found the teeniest sips from my husband are more than sufficient. I am interested to see how people react to me when we are eating out and I choose to have my glass...
There's a reason that the label on the bottle says not to drink it of you're pregnant. Fetal alcohol syndrome is too serious a thing to mess with. A glass every now and then probably wouldn't be too serious. But I really wouldn't risk the health of my unborn child just for a bit of alcohol.

Me too!

Me too. And it's only 9 months. I don't crave it that much.
This is what I did with DD and I will probably do again this time.
This. It's a lot less toxic than many things pregnant are exposed to/ ingest. It really depends on your comfort level.
lol. you and me both.

That is ridiculous.
