I'm new, so forgive me if this has been asked before, but what are you doing with all your clothes after they don't fit anymore? are you storing them? giving them away and start new?
I'm really hoping I'll fit into my clothes after I give birth and I won't deny the fact that I'm eating a little more just because I'm 'pregnant'. Overall, I'm in love with my clothes--I have been a fashionista for a while and I can't seem to part with them.
I actually have a bigger issue. I converted a whole bedroom into a closet, but now with the baby coming I need to turn it into a nursery. I REALLY don't know what to do with my clothes...fit or no fit. UGH!!!

Re: Wardrobe
I wouldn't get rid of your clothes. I gained 30+ pounds with both of my previous pregnancies, and managed to lose it all after the baby was born. In fact, I ended up thinner at 4 months post partum than I was prior to being pregnant, but once I stopped breastfeeding I went back up to the same size I was before kids.
As for the quantity of clothes, well, it does sound like you might need to whittle it down to a manageable amount in order to fit somewhere else. Good luck with that!
Pregnancy weight issues aside, it does sound like you have a bit too much. Once my first child came, I discovered I did not need a packed closet- mostly because I wore the same things over and over- I had better things to worry about than my clothes. Not to say to need to wear nothing but yoga pants & hoodies, but a selection of stylish, multi-purpose options goes a long way.
Do yourself a favor and start whittling it down now- not everything, but things you have not worn in a while or you probably won't use again. Once that is done, fill another basket of clothes to donate. You will be glad to have the physical and psychic space once baby comes and your life becomes increasingly cluttered with little socks, random toys, and thoughts on when the baby last had a bath/change/feeding.
Definitely start weeding out stuff. Chances are good that you will fit into the clothes within a year of having the baby. That said, depending on what you'll be doing after- job, staying home, breastfeeding, whatnot- your clothes may or may not work for your new life.
Right now I'm getting rid of anything that is not easy access for breastfeeding. I breastfed my first for 15 months and my second for 26 months, so I expect to be wearing nursing friendly attire for 2 years minimum. Knowing that, I'm only keeping things I am super attached to since 2 years is a long time to store clothes I will not be wearing. Plus in 2 years, the fashions will have changed yet again.
Good luck!
