Testings, Vaccines, etc BEFORE getting pregnant - help me!

My husband and I are ready to start trying ... I met with my gyno yesterday and she gave me a list of testings my husband and I need to take prior to getting pregnant, plus vaccines for me. Do I need to get them all done? Are they necessary? Any advice will be a GREAT help! Thanks girls

We got no vaccines or tests prior to getting pregnant so not sure what these tests/vaccines are.

I got the Eastern European panel done.  It tests for Tay Sachs and many more.  My doctor wanted to make sure I was not a carrier.  I also got the cystic fibrosis test to see if I was a carrier as well.

Same here...although I might have gotten an STD/Aids test done just as precautionary (I regularly tested anyway though).

The only thing I can think of getting before getting pregnant would be pertussis.
