Britax Marathon or Blvd. Car seat?

We're about to get the next car seat. Which Britax convertible is better?

One isn't necessarily better than the other, it just depends what you want.  As long as you're talking about the Marathon 70, they're almost exactly the same.  The Boulevard just has the longer "wings" on the head support which are supposed to provide more side impact protection.  This additional feature also makes it slightly more expensive.

We have the Boulevard and DS likes to rest his head against the "wings."  He's never complained about not being able to see around them or anything like that.

I was deciding between these two last week and decided to go for the marathon.  The only real difference is the head supports on the sides.  They are both very safe.  Just check them both out and see what works for you.

With my daughter, I used the Marathon and my parents used the Boulevard, and we loved to debate the comparative merits. I felt like the Boulevard was a bit bigger and more luxurious (ex. built-in cupholders) but the Marathon was more streamlined which I preferred. All in all, my daughter survived with both of us! You can't go wrong with either choice.

We got the Boulevard 70 CS.  I am a FTM and baby is not here yet to have tried it, but I read the reviews and went with it based upon that.  Britax has a great reputation all around, so you should be fine with either.  It's just preference.

Like pp said, britax is a very trusted brand so it's all a personal preference.. My SIL got the britax boulevard over the marathon due it's slightly more comfortable fit and size, and her DD really loves sitting in it...

I was fully set on the Marathon mostly due to price issues and I didn't think the safety features were that compromised compared to the higher priced Boulevard. I ended up finding the Boulevard on sale for almost the same price as the Marathon so we got it instead. DS loves it and I think it was easy to install and easy to get him in and out of. Like most pp's said, its really just a personal preference/price issue because they are both great.

We have the Boulevard and love it.
